He was predeceased by: his parents, Thaddeus S. Mocarski and Anna Maria Mocarski (Mallardi); his wife Patricia "Pat" A. (Stoltz); and his sister Carol Karpen (Lenny). He is survived by: his children, Matthew Mocarski (Diana), Amy Robinson (Chris), Theresa Beeco (Brian), Monica Mocarski and Patty Mocarski-Rich (Owain); his grandchildren, Madelyn, Ava, Gatsby, Poe and Hawthorne Thaddeus; his girlfriend Linda Caruso; and his sister Anna Maria Lindemuth (Tom). He is also survived by family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory can be made to the American Heart Association.
