He was predeceased by: his father Edwin Charles Carmer. He is survived by: his mother Onalee V. Fuller Carmer of Ellsworth; his wife Kathy Blackburn Carmer; his daughters, Jennifer McIlvaine Tulenko, Jaclyn McIlvaine Joyner (Tim) and Sabrina McIlvaine Patterson (late Cody); his grandchildren, Jade, Shawn, Tiana, Krista and Grant; his brother Robert Carmer (Stephen); and also, Ruby and Steely. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
