She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred B. Hess and Helen C. Hess (Keller). She is survived by: her niece Francie Lue Sponenberg of Bloomsburg; her great-nephews, Eric and Brett Sponenberg of Bloomsburg; Erica, Mandy Jo and Sutton.
During the pandemic, she made numerous masks to hand out to people.
