John Wereschagin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Wereschagin (Benton, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Olga Vereschagin and Michael Vereschagin (family: N. J.); and his brother Valentine Vereschagin. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo DePalma; his children, Laura (Michael Zimmerman), Alexis, John and Michael (Neva German); his grandchildren, Barrett Zimmerman (Vale Smith), Nikolai, Eliana Wereschagin and Mason Rozakis; and his siblings, Victor Vereschagin (Pat), Helen Smith, Jeanne Tolvay (Joe) and Michael Vereshagin (Irene). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
