She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Ross Pennington and Mary L. Pennington (Wagner); her husband John S. "Jack" Holmes; her son Jerry Holmes; her grandson Kyle Lentini; and her brother A. Ross Pennington, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Thomas "Tom" Holmes (Rosemary) of Norfolk, VA, Cathy Wolfe (Ron) of Bernville, Linda Ridall (Gary) of Shermans Dale and Heidi Tucker (Scott) of Sebastian, Florida. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and a niece and nephew.
