We announce the death of Teddy McHenry of Benton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 17, 2026, at the age of 95. Teddy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Zender McHenry and Ruth McHenry (Crawford); his brothers, Ronnie D. McHenry and Billy A. McHenry; and his stepmother Arlene McHenry.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley K. McHenry (Kindig); his children, Beth Ann Price (Richard) of Ocean View, NJ and Randy L. McHenry (Corinne) of Spring City, PA; his grandchildren, Dylan, Taylor, Kelsey and Ward; his great grandchildren, Tucker, Hazel and Weston; his siblings, Michael McHenry (Diane) of Florida, Charlotte Wolford (John) of Orangeville, Shirley A. McHenry of Bloomsburg, Colleen DiPietro of Orangeville and Timothy McHenry of New Columbus; and his sister-in-law Shirley McHenry of Orangeville.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McMichael Funeral Home (4394 Red Rock Rd, Benton, PA 17814). The military honors will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc. (4394 Red Rock Rd, Benton, PA 17814).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Capital Building Fund, Benton Christian Church, P. O. Box 264, Benton, PA 17814.
