She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray M. Hauger and Thelma R. Hauger (Miller); her husband Larry Richard Leister; her son Eric Michael Leister; her mother-in-law Edna Mae Leister; and her siblings-in-law, Cathy J. Smith and Timothy Murphy.

She is survived by: her daughter Tara Miller (Michael); her grandchildren, Layken (Colton Bollman) and Owen Miller; her siblings, Lynn Hauger (Wanita), Susan Landis (Kim) and Lowell Hauger (Barbara); her father-in-law Ralph Leister; her siblings-in-law, Diana Murphy, Brenda Hillegass, Joseph Smith and Jeffrey Hillegass; Leonard and Shirley Gary. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
