Geneva McVicker Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Geneva McVicker of Berlin, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Geneva McVicker to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James J. Mowry and Irene May Mowry (Emerick); her husbands, George E. Hummel and Floyd McVicker; her daughters, Belinda Kathleen Hummel and Nadine Irene Delancy (Hummel); her sister Carol Jean Mowry; her son-in-law Lynn Walker; her grandson Joseph Hummel; her great grandchild Gavin Konieczny; and her brother-in-law Wayne Shaulis.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Walker, Jeffrey J., David E. (Joyce) and George Hummel (Dottie); and her siblings, Shirley Shaulis, Linda Coleman (Ray) and Dale Mowry (Carol).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Deaner Funeral Home (705 Main St, Berlin, PA 15530). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Humane Society of Somerset County, P.O. Box 182, Somerset, PA 15501.
