He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Deem and Mary Deem (Sturtz) of Berlin. He is survived by: his brother Roger Deem of Meyersdale; his wife Penny Deem (Suder); his children, Seth, Jennifer Deem (Clark) of Berlin and Lindsey Mahoney (Cory) of Stoystown; his brother Dale Deem (late Carol); his sister-in-law Pam Deem (Boyce) of Meyersdale; his grandchildren, Logan and Maelie Mahoney; his stepgrandsons, Jake and Luke Clark; and his stepgreat-grandson Jaxton Clark. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
