She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Athey and Agnes Athey (Raygor); and her husband Ronald D. Picking Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Ronald D. Picking III and Erin Custer (Brad); her grandson Thomas; and her siblings, Anna Lee Baker (Barrie), Dorothy Shultz, Nancy Barkman (Butch) and Rick Athey (Nancy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Halverson Funeral Home (476 W Main St, Somerset, PA 15501). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
