It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Emerick of Berlin, Pennsylvania, born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on January 7, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank A. Stakem and Theresa Stakem (Dreyer). She is survived by: her sister Linda M. Fields (Robert); her nieces, Larynda Bryant (Bill), Lorrie Spataro (Chris) and Tracy Merkel (Bob); her great-nieces and great-nephews, William, Jr., Danelle Bryant, Logan Harden, Devin and Page Merkel; and her cousins, William Stakem (Susan), Mike Stakem (Diane), Charles Hill (Lisa) and Laurie Walsh (Jamie).
