It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sherwood Witmer of Berrysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Dalmatia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 21, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Landis F. Witmer and Sarah E. Witmer; and his sister Pauline Gutshall. He is survived by: his wife Eunice; his siblings, Lucille Noecker, Violet Lewis, Ruthie Minnich and Stewart Witmer; his children, Bruce Witmer (Helen) of Carlisle, Angela Busha of Enhaut, Jody Witmer (Carl) of Bressler and Chris Witmer (Linda) of Easton; and his grandchildren, Shawntel Hoover, Shane Keefer, Seth Keefer, Jennifer Witmer Waltz, Jessica Witmer Dolinger, Nicole Brixey, Cody Witmer, Sara Witmer, Austin Witmer, Alexis Thompson and Carl Thompson, Jr.. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
