She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Laura D. Salkowski; her stepfather John J. Kochan; her wife Janice A. Boop; her children, Kelly Jo (Ronald Stiner) of Bloomsburg, Samuel Hicks John III of Nanticoke and Jon Elvis John of Springfield; her grandchildren, Lynica Rose John, Samuel Hicks John IV, Soren John, Laura Anne John and Ronnie Carmen Stiner; her siblings, Jon Kochan of Tunkhannock and Judy Lewis of Nanticoke; and her goddaughter Lori Lewis of Bethlehem.
