He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Anthony Chiado and Dorothy Zoe Chiado (Gray). He is survived by: his son Steven VanPelt Chiado; his wife Nancy Lynn VanPelt; his daughter-in-law Caitlin Susan Chiado; his grandchildren, Harvey Denson and Sylvie Gray Chiado; his siblings, Donalee Miller (Glenn) of Allison Park, PA, Diane Kleinfelter of Fishers, IN and Eric Chiado (Kelly); and his brothers-in-law, Glenn VanPelt and Aaron VanPelt.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mayo Funeral Home (110 Chestnut St, Berwick, PA 18603). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Contributions in his memory can be made to St. Jude's Hospital or the Mises Institute.
