With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Malia of Berwick, Pennsylvania, born in Ashland, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 5, 2020 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Edward Terence Malia. He is survived by : his mother Bertha Dewey of Levittown, PA.; his wife Janet Carnevali Sidwar; his children, Matthew (Brandi Erdman), Melanie and Shane (Jessica Swank); his stepchildren, Bryan Sidwar (Tara Wynings) and Sarah Sidwar (Jeremiah Dyer); his grandchildren, Declan, Sydney and Camden Malia; his stepgrandchildren, Gavin, Luke Sidwar, Declan, Lydia and Marshall Dyer; and his siblings, Ann McManus of Levittown, Patricia Malia of Neshaminy and Robert Malia of Mt. Carmel.

In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be sent to Shriners Hospital or St. Judes Hospital.

“We are all so sad , here in florida, over the passing of such a great friend, ed. We felt so blessed when one of our first neighbor to meet was ed. Making us feel so welcome and offering a hand if we needed. Ed, you will be missed, for sure.
