He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard J. Walck and Margaret Walck (Clausen); his wife Bette L. Walck; his son Edward; and his siblings, James Walck, Elmer Walck, Alice "Doretta" Romberger, Ruth Stein and Clara Belle Walck.

He is survived by: his children, Susan Boone (Elwood) and Dennis Walck (Mary); his grandchildren, Jason Boone (Deanna), Megan Williams (Kody) and Georgia; his great grandchildren, Nadia, Callista, Lillian, Harold and Theodore; and his sister Lorraine Hoffman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
