Jacqueline Assunta Melchiorre Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2025, at the age of 97, Jacqueline Assunta Melchiorre of Berwick, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Lovecchio and Teresa Lovecchio (Massimo); her husband Lawrence M. Melchiorre, Sr.; her son Anthony C. Melchiorre; and her siblings, Regina Manco, Emilio Lovecchio, Rose DiPippa, Mary Norce, Angelo Lovecchio and Lorraine Lovecchio.
She is survived by: her children, Lawrence M. Melchiorre, Jr. (James Howley) of Wilkes-Barre, Mary Lou Melchiorre (John Bowman) of York, PA, Michael C. Melchiorre (Susan) of Berwick and Christopher Melchiorre (Deirdra Perry) of Berwick; and her grandchildren, Amy Melchiorre, Anthony Melchiorre, Jr., Ashley Melchiorre, Lorenzo Melchiorre, Gabriella Melchiorre, Rocco Melchiorre, Nicholas Melchiorre, Antonia Melchiorre and Michael Melchiorre, Jr.. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (721 Monroe St, Berwick, PA 18603). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to: St. Joseph Catholic Church at the above address, the Alzheimer's Association, or the Embassy of East Mountain Memory Care Unit, 101 East Mountain Blvd, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
