He was predeceased by : his parents, Clyde D. Bower and Edna Mae Bower (Samsel); his brothers, Clyde D. Bower, Jr., Don E. Bower and Tom L. Bower; and his sister-in-law Linda Bower.
He is survived by : his wife Eleanor Bachardy; his children, Deborah Pollock (David), John R. Bower II (Allison) and Eric M. Bower (Tracy); his grandchildren, Katie Pollock (Eric), Megan Totaro (Derek) and Drew Bower (Alex); his great grandchildren, Gracelynn, Noah and Dustin; and his sisters-in-law, Joanne Bower and Rose Bower. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
