He was predeceased by: his parents, Oley B. "Oad" Bowman and Edith Bowman (Smith); and his siblings, Ada Bowman, John Bowman Sr., David Bowman, Richard Bowman, Edward Bowman, Howard Bowman, George Bowman and Carl Bowman.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Bowmn; his children, Linda Lex (Dan), Judy Lynn and Richard Bowman; and his siblings, Drucilla Bancroft, Grace Swank, Eleanor Young and Dean Bowman. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
