It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Joseph Fern of Berwick, Pennsylvania, born in Saint Peters, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Fern, Jr. and Anna T. Fern (Bodor); and his brother Charles Fern. He is survived by : his wife Darlene M. Fern (Himmelreich); his children, Paul Jeffrey Fern of Pennsburg, Kim T. Fern, Shawn D. Fern (Barb) of Telford, PA and Nathan L. Fern; his stepchildren, Lisa A. Bortz of Mertztown, Kelly M. Bortz of Ormond Beach, FL and Scott A. Bortz of Shickshinny, PA.; his grandchildren, Ashley Force, Eric Force, Levi Fern and Raven Fern; his stepgrandchildren, Chad Hartberger, Darren Corozza, Gage Bortz, Anthony Day, Emily Fahringer and Grace Fahringer; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Skyler, Jaxon and Veronica; and his sisters, Christine Henry of Florida and Mary Bennett of Mechanicsburg.
