He was predeceased by: his parents, Freas Long and Margaret Long (Stackhouse); his wife Lydia Ann Long (Deet); his former wife Betty Love (Seifert); and his brother James Long.
He is survived by: his children, Laura L. Donovan (James), New Britain, Michael R. Long (Jennifer), Russell A. Long and Amy R. Smith (Joel); his granddaughter Kristen; his children, James, Jenna, Erin, Austin, Christopher, AnDina, Seth, Cassie and Jared; and his sister Linda Keszkowski (Stanley "Stosh"). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (7368 School House Rd, Berwick, PA 18603). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Berwick United Way, 107 S. Market St, Berwick, PA 18603.
