Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas D. McMurtrie and Geraldine A McMurtrie (Slusser); his daughter-in-law Joselle McMurtrie; and his brother Lee McMurtrie. He is survived by: his wife Linda L. McMurtrie (Schultz); his children, Melinda Whitenight (David) and Thomas Sterling McMurtrie; his grandson Keith Whitenight; his brother Thomas McMurtrie (Charlene); and his siblings-in-law, Grace McMurtrie and James Schultz (Debra). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
