Robert W. Guthrie Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert W. Guthrie (Berwick, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 12, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Robert farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Robert is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley L. Guthrie and Nellie Guthrie (Barr); his wife Susan K. Glasser; and his siblings, Stanley Guthrie, Jr., Laman and Gloria.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anna Samsel of Bloomsburg and Melinda Berry of Coaldale; and his siblings, Ronald Guthrie (Molly), Gene Guthrie, Tony Guthrie (Tammy), Steve Guthrie, Pamela Swank and Claudia. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
