He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne E. Kemp and Jean Kemp Sr. (Shrader). He is survived by: his wife Christine L. Kemp (Bloom); his children, Brian Kemp (Michele), Antoinette Bucher (Michael), Pittsburg, Jennifer Kemp, Shelley Kemp and Wayne Kemp III (Nina Masteller); his grandchildren, Zach and Riley Kemp; his children, Jayden Kemp, Robert, Stephen McGee (Trina), James Hughes and Lilly; his great grandchild Athena; his siblings, Linda Toth (Nick), Donna Peters (Donald), Dennis Kemp and Sterling Kemp (Evelyn); and his siblings-in-law, Alan Bloom and Darlene Burd (Eugene). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
