He is survived by : his wife Brenda Thomas of Bloomsburg; his children, Brad Benscoter (Lisa) of Bloomsburg, Beth DiVecchia (David) of Wellesley and Brooke Trapane of Berwick; his grandchildren, Brent Benscoter, Ashley DiVecchia, Brianna Benscoter, Dan DiVecchia, Gianni Trapane and Isabella Trapane; and his brother Richard Benscoter (Dick) of Berwick.
