He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Alexander Beatty, Sr. and Marie Amelia Gable; his wife Marlene Ann Beatty; his brother Robert Alexander Beatty, Jr.; and his grandson Matthew Joseph Dwyer.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Dee Tagg (Bob) and Schawn Eric Beatty (Colleen Dwyer); and his grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Tagg (Sean Simons), Lindsey Tagg Whipkey (Mandie), Erin Elizabeth Beatty (Perry Chung), Catherine Corrigan Beatty, Michael Richard Beatty (Sakura Chen), Micaela Keenan Beatty and John Henry Dwyer.
