She was predeceased by: her parents, William Joseph and Elizabeth Marie Buchleitner (Kremmel); her husband Edmund Dean; and her siblings, Bertha Schmidt (Buchleitner), Rita Buchleitner, Elizabeth Kampert (Buchleitner), Irene Graham Schmidt (Buchleitner), Marie Morgan (Buchleitner), William Buchleitner, Robert Buchleitner and Richard Buchleitner.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Albert (Smith), Mark Smith (Janae), Robert William Dean and Suzanne Dean Gundermann (Robert); and her grandchildren, Cristin Albert, Alexander Smith, Sara Gundermann Reeves (Nicholas), Dean Gundermann and Emma Smith.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. (4201 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
