He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred F. Shoemaker and Marie Koepfer Shoemaker; and his son Scott Shoemaker. He is survived by: his wife Judy Shoemaker; his daughters, Michele Jakiel (Robert), Lori Hoffman (Charlie), Jill Shoemaker and Susan Shoemaker (David Elkins); and his grandchildren, Stephen, Ryan, Matthew, Meghan, Emma and Estella. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
