He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Herring (Nalepa); and his parents, Robert Herring and Hazel Herring. He is survived by: his children, Scott Herring (Carrie), Marcy Santel (David) and Jason Herring (Samantha); and his grandchildren, Allison, Jacob Herring, Emily Garcia (Jorge) and James Herring.
