He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Christine Kaplan; his children, Michelle Swansegar (Jeff), Michael Kaplan and Gregory Kaplan (Jessica); his father Ivan (Sharon); his brothers, Charles Kaplan (Laura), Richard Kaplan, David Kaplan (Gale) and Jason Samreny (Beth); and his granddaughters, Charlee Swansegar and Emma Kaplan.
