He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marlene J. Bour (Showberg); his son Paul R. Bour (Dena); his stepchildren, Gayla Brief, David Simmons (Karrie) and Daniel Simmons; his child-in-law Gail Simmons; and his grandson Paul Andrew Bour.
