She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph A. Alberta; her parents, John Metzner and Lula Metzner; and her sister Gloria Holma. She is survived by: her daughters, Janet A. Melaragno (Joe) of Bethel Park, PA and Diane A. Weaver of Bethel Park, PA; her grandchildren, Andrea Melaragno Merson (Matt) of Jersey City, NJ, Dr. Kaitlin Weaver of Gainesville, FL, Jamie Melaragno Schuler (Eric) of Boulder, CO and Christopher Weaver of Chicago, IL; her great grandchild Loie Josephine Schuler; and her friend Ed Tokar of McDonald, PA.. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

Donations can be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
