We announce the death of Jesse A. Cheyney of Bethel, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 22, 2026. Jesse will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Cheyney and Margaret Cheyney (Watkins); and his wife Mary Ann Cheyney (Crowder). He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Morgan (Andrew) and Meredith Lawler (Robert); his grandchildren, Blake Cheyney-Morgan, Addison, Reese, Jonah Morgan, Finnley, Brody, Dayton and Crew Lawler; and his siblings, Beverly Pullin (late James Pullin), Gail McKay (James) and Brian Cheyney (Cindy). He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Valley Point Church (209 Bethel Rd, Glen Mills, PA 19342). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Elam U M Church Cemetery (1073 Smithbridge Rd, Glen Mills, PA 19342).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jesse's memory to Elam United Methodist Church or ValleyPoint Church at the addresses above.
