It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha Knepshield of Bethel, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, O. T. LaMar and Mildred LaMar (Slagle); her stepfather Emil Shaffer; her husband I. Dwight Knepshield; her aunt Louise Wong; and also Sherry.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Knepshield (Mary Ann) of Vandergrift, Monty Knepshield (Juanita Ross) of Vandergrift and Lisa Covert (Scott) of New Kensington; and her grandchildren, Ryan Knepshield (Casey), Michelle Corna (Eric), Heather Smail, Abby Harkleroad (Jason) and Grace Fiscus (Alex). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Welch Funeral Service (1032 4th Ave, Ford City, PA 16226). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
