Carmela Sena Obituary
Carmela "Millie" Sena, 96, of Bethlehem, formerly of Deer Park, NY, died Saturday at her residence. Born in New York City, NY, on April 11, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Maria (Caffarella) Del Pozzo. She was the widow of the late Louis Sena, who died in 1998. She was employed as an office worker at Guardian Life Insurance Company, in New York City for 33 years, retiring in 1981.
She was a great cook and enjoyed volunteering at polling places during election day. She was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church, Bethlehem, PA. Surviving are nieces - Mary Ann, wife of Angelo Melchiorri, of Staten Island, NY, and Antoinette, wife of Leonard Rollo, of Bangor, PA - and several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She is predeceased by sisters Anna Iannerelli, Filomena Trupo, Josephine Barcia, and Frances DeLuca. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd, Bethlehem, PA. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Pine Hill, NY at a later date.
