He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline A. Schiffert (Stengel); his siblings, Marian, George, Fred and Robert; and his grandsons, Dexter M. and Christopher R (Hattie Tirrell).
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas C. Schiffert, Sr. (Melanie J.) of Fogelsville and Michael A. Schiffert (Lori E.) of Allentown; and his grandchildren, Thomas C., Jr., Tara L., Courtney A., Vivian M. and Daniel M.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
