We announce the death of Cheryl L. Dettmer (Bethlehem, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sterling Jones and Dorothy Jones (Gehr); and her daughter Wendy K. Barth. She is survived by: her husband Russell D. Dettmer; her daughters, Cindy S. (Chuck Haff) of Fargo, ND and Tammy L. (Robert Strahan) of Palmerton; her brother Mark Jones of Easton; and her son-in-law Joe Barth. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bethany Wesleyan Church (675 Blue Mountain Dr, Walnutport, PA 18035). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
