It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel T. Jennings of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, born in Sussex, New Jersey, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Jennings and Hazel Jennings (Fleming); and his sisters, Bonnie, Becky (Erd) and Candy (McCormack).

He is survived by: his significant other Jill (Vayo); his sister Jill (Royer); his children, John (Angela), Clint (Molly), Nick (Jessica) and Kacey (Nick Fonner); and his grandsons, Malachi, Milo and Derek. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Fisher House Foundation in Dan's honor.

“I worked with Dan for 15 years at BRHS . I always admired Dan for his work ethic, his knowledge of history and his dedication to his family and his country. We had many, many conversations over the years on a wide variety of subjects including my love and his love for soup! We would compare the soup of the day often and decide together whether it was worthy of our consumption! He had a unique sense of humor but always shown through for his love of education and his students. Rest in peace Dan.”
