She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward J. Piekutowski and Marien Piekutowski (Tracz); her son Christopher J. Sauer; and her brother-in-law Dr. Thomas S. Sauer. She is survived by: her husband Joseph F. Sauer; her son Cory M. of Springfield, Virginia; her sisters, Karen Wilson of Allentown and Paula Gillette (Gary) of Nokomis, Florida; and her sisters-in-law, Joan Wilvert (Gregg) and Linda Sauer. She is also survived by five nieces and two nephews.
