He was predeceased by: his daughter Romanita; and his siblings, Saturdina Ayala, Enriques Ayala, Jose Antonio Ayala and Ramon Antonio Ayala.
He is survived by: his children, Hector Ayala, Sandra, Lisett and Maritza; and his sister Joaquina Ayala. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
