We bid farewell to Donald Bates of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 23, 2025 at the age of 65. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oakley and Mary L Bates (Wright); his siblings, Adam Bates, Robert Allison and Ruth Zalenski; and his stepsiblings, Sam Bates, Steve Bates and Kathy McGhee.

He is survived by: his stepmother Dolores Bates; his daughter Breanna Bates of Bethlehem, PA; his sister Melody Thompson (Ruth Zalinski); and his grandchildren, Landon Cordon, Noah Cordon and Ameela Cruz.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Boyko Funeral Home (855 Lehigh St, Allentown, PA 18103).
