He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine A. Serafin (Mindick); his parents, Edward G. Serafin Sr. and Ann Serafin (Bilock); his children, Melissa Serafin-Atzmiller and Bobby Jones; his granddaughter Maegan; and his siblings, Stanley, George, Joe and Eleanor.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Serafin of Gilbert, PA, Joseph Serafin of Sedona, AZ, David Serafin of Albrightsville, PA, Cheryl Bartholomew (Dean) of Jim Thorpe, PA, Katherine Archibald (Lee) of Downingtown, PA, Joan Werkheiser (Frank) of Nazareth, PA and Jamie Serafin (Alicia) of Eagleville, PA; his son-in-law Steve Atzmiller of Littleton, CO.; and his grandchildren, Ruthann, Rebecca, Crystal, Tina, Michael, Mary, Olivia, Willa, Brandon, Kaylee, Samantha, Ashley, Amber, Jessica and Cameron. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
