Evelyn J. Oravec Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn J. Oravec (Bethlehem, Pennsylvania), born in Forks Township, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Miller and Bertha Brown; her half-siblings, Ethel, Margaret, Ruth, George and Lloyd; and her sisters, Gladys Tucker, Doris Hall and Elsie Fonte.
She is survived by: her son Louis F. "Lou" Oravec, Jr. (Mary Kelly) of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania; her husband Louis F. Oravec, Sr.; her son Dean Dutko (Kathleen) of Lake Elmo; her grandchildren, Parker, Cole Dutko, Jake and Brock Oravec; and her sister-in-law Marie Oravec of Orefield, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (3219 Santee Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18020). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Evelyn's name to either Boy Scout Troop 84, Sciota PA and/or Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
