He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra "Sandy" Brunell (Spritzler); his parents, Roy Brunell of Roy's Garage and Mary Brunell (Seigfeldt); his son Gerald Scott Brunell; and his brother Roy Brunell.
He is survived by: his daughter Bettie Jean Kichline (Steve); his daughter-in-law Michelle Brunell; and his sister Mary Spry. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
