James Pongitory Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2020, at the age of 73, James Pongitory of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, born in Jersey City, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Elaine D. Pongitory (Stetson); his parents, Anthony Pongitory and Antoinette Pongitory (Donofrio); his children, Michelle Cardellino of Lake Ariel and Marc Pongitory (April) of Quakertown; his sisters, Linda Wheatley of Wildwood Crest, NJ and Nancy Trotter Pongitory; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Cheyenne and Angelina; and his great grandchildren, Addriana, Chase and Cameron.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jim's name may be sent to the Heartland Hospice.

“Dear Pongitory family, my condolences to you all, I knew Jim as a child in Washington Twsp, my mom (Jo Senese) and Annie & Tony P. were lifelong friends and you could say we kids all grew up together in the 60's and 70's. Really sorry to hear this, Jimmy was older but I remember him clearly as a good guy and I'm just very sad to know he is not with us anymore. Debbie (Obesky Voyski)”
