He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Suhr (MacDonald); his parents, Max Suhr and Daisy Suhr (Landon); his son-in-law William Betza; his former wife Geraldine Suhr (Miller); and his stepson Joseph Gerwer.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Myers (Linda) of Bridgewater, NJ, Jeannette Betza of Highbridge, NJ, Sherry Munson (Paul) of Flemington, NJ and James E. (Michaella) of Karlsurhe, Germany; and his stepchildren, Peter Gerwer (Susan) of Benton, Joan Swensen (Alan) of Palmer Twp, Dennis Gerwer (Marion) and John Gerwer (Barbara) of Manchester, TN. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Tunnel to Towers and St. Jude Research Hospital.
