She was predeceased by: her husband Sherwood D. "Woody" Piper; her parents, Miles Beers and Arlene M. Baumer Beers (Heimbach); her brothers, Warren M. Baumer and Richard H. Baumer; and her son Dr. Terry D. Piper.
She is survived by: her children, Judith A. Miller of Allentown and Thomas S. Piper (Louise) of Laurel, MD; and her daughter-in-law Carolyn Piper of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
