He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores (Dean); his parents, John Demeter and Anna Demeter (Shandor); and his sisters, Julie, Helen, Kathryn, Dorothy, Mary and Anna.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Csorba (Nick), Gregory A. Demeter, John M. Demeter and Brian S. Demeter; and his brother Michael Demeter. He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and neices and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the James Funeral Home & Cremation Service (527 Center St, Bethlehem, PA 18018). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church (1140 Johnston Dr, Bethlehem, PA 18017).
