He was predeceased by: his parents, Pietro Petraglia and Maria Petraglia; his wife Irene Check Petraglia; and his sisters, Rose and Carmela Steen.
He is survived by: his brother Joe Petraglia (Clara) of Pennsylvania; his sons, John Petraglia, Jr. (Marie) of North Carolina and Peter Petraglia (Patrick) of California; and his grandsons, Sean Petraglia of Pennsylvania and Peter Petraglia of North Carolina.
