John Ward Obituary
The world bids farewell to John Ward of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, departing on January 16, 2026 at the age of 81. John leaves behind memories cherished by the community. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, John is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. and Mary C. Ward (Casey). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his daughters, Tracey Gill (John) of Emmaus, PA and Kimberly Wynarczuk (John) of Lopatcong Township, NJ; and his grandchildren, Evan Patrick Gill, Erin Rebekah Gill and Katherine Helena Wynarczuk.
John devoted his life to serving others in many ways, formal and informal, including serving as a VISTA volunteer in Halifax County, VA after college; serving as a dedicated Girl Scout parent and Cookie Sale Coordinator (the cookies annually took over the living room – stacked from floor to ceiling); serving as an Easton Area High School Instrumental Association volunteer and chaperone; and donating blood and being a courier for the Miller-Keystone Blood Center.
